Layout of Birch Dale Lodge:
Birch Dale Lodge is situated on a peninsula in Meyers Bay and at the north end of Eagle Lake. The lodge faces the northeast. A thick mature Birch Tree forest on the west site of the peninsula protects the lodge from the prevailing wind and bad weather that usually comes from the northwest.
